The term \"The Royal Palace\" refers to both the physical castle built high atop the hill here, and the surrounding city at large. The city is the largest in Rathfeldt by far, and can be seen constantly bustling with activity day or night, although at night a darker side of the city is seen, with the criminal underbelly coming out to play. During the day the city could almost seem to fit the story the king has woven of the prosperous kingdom he brought to life, as from a distance the lively markets and crowded harbors could indicate a wealthy nation. Indeed, the standard of living in the Royal Palace is much higher than anywhere else in Rathfeldt, but it comes at a cost. The citizens here live under strict control of the king and his army, and non-human races are strictly forbidden and often executed on the spot if found within the city limits.
","zoomLevel":"2","icon":"Map_Pin_blue"},"geometry":{"type":"Point","coordinates":[1788.25,3824]}},{"type":"Feature","properties":{"name":"[1] Old Campsite","description":"
The first stop on Magnus and Gareth's journey, this old campsite was made by Gareth before he snuck into the Royal palace to assassinate the king. The rumors, although never confirmed, have been extremely damaging to it's reputation, with many merchants and traders refusing to do business with them out of fear of retaliation from the King's armies. When he reached the desert, he rediscovered his sister tribe of desert snakemen and united the two tribes, and they were told of a giant natural maze formed by the quakes during the cataclysm. The desert people were aware of this maze, but it was considered dangerous as the area was notoriously prone to landslides and it was easy to get lost.

However, with no other option, the tribe leader led his people into the maze and discovered a deep ravine hidden within the mesa maze. They built a settlement into the canyon's walls, hidden from view and only accessible by makeshift elevators that were only risen when a special horn was sounded. As the leader who brought his people here went by the name of Drymaw, this new settlement became known as Drymaw's Ravine.

The snakemen have since adapted to their new environment, although some still bear resemblance to their jungle ancestors. They've developed a keen ability to sense the slightest vibrations in the ground, thus predicting a landslide before it even happens.
","zoomLevel":"5","icon":"Map_Pin_purple"},"geometry":{"type":"Point","coordinates":[172.53125,6865]}}]}
